Next year in Israel.

The Jewish people celebrate Passover for their deliverance from the slavery in Egypt. It is the beginning of freedom.
Tonight there will be the ritual feast of seder in which stories of the liberation will be shared over dishes such as soft stewed prunes, perhaps Sephardic charoset (made with dates, bananas and sweet wine) and, of course, the matzo-ball soup.
Last year The Delhi Walla attended one such seder meal at the Chabad House in central Delhi’s Paharganj.
Next year I hope to attend it in Jerusalem.
